The Source of Real Happiness

To me reading is like art, you can reflect on what someone says in many different ways. I recently just read the book Into The Wild. Its a true story, and there is also a very inspiring movie based off this book (for those of you who don't like reading).

Our society is like a walking robot, pushed to have material success. It is what we as humans long for and by doing so we follow this certain path that is the "safe" path for a good future, or should I say "safe" future.

Do you remember when you were a kid and you would have dreams with no limits. Lets call these dreams our crazy dreams. Our crazy dreams were unstoppable, and at the time our minds were so innocent that we thought nothing could stop us from obtaining them. What happened to those dreams? We began to grow into adults and our minds were no longer innocent. we became wrapped up in society's picture perfect "journey". No longer do we step outside our boundaries, we just play the safe card making sure that it only benefits our future.

The sources of real happiness in life are true love, compassion, and experiencing your "crazy" dreams. To obtain true love and happiness I believe is through living your "crazy" dreams and not following the footsteps of safe future. What good is a material success going to bring in our life, If it is all abut playing the safe card? Do we ever do anything for our selves anymore, or are we living a lie constantly doing everything to make everyone happy. Is it our real "crazy" dreams God wants us to follow? So then is it a test if we let these material goods get in the way and play the safe card. He gives us the knowledge to create these technological advancements, but it is the wrong kind of happiness we obtain from them. The real source of happiness is from our ultimate "crazy" dreams!

Swine flu

Swine Flu a major crises everyone is talking about. Is it really something to freak out about? Its the topic that the media was covering for most of their broadcasting. So what is this dilemma coming to?

The Media made this crises sound like our world was going to end. My friend from Milwaukee said he had gotten the swine flu. He was cured by not doing anything different than any other flu. This really got me thinking on why the media broadcasts it as such a big deal.

Why does the media over exaggerate things? I could understand if this flu was deadly, but it really was not that harmful towards adults, maybe kids? They really should broadcast the right information on T.V. so people have a better understanding on how to approach this matter.

Swine flu, is it really what the media is broadcasting. Or is it just another flu bug going around. I think the media blows this dilemma out of control, because it keeps people tuned in on their broadcasting. Which makes them money, if they have more people listening to their station.

I read an article talking about the views on different sex’s and how they communicate. It basically explained how the divorce rate is raising. Most couples that got a divorce based it on their communication level. Also it pointed out why these communication levels differ so much in gender.
It pointed out in the article that while growing up boys tend to have more of a group type friendship, when girls have only one best friend that they share secrets with and rely on that person when they need a friend. They also explained that with in a time frame the boys would talk about so many different subjects, while in that same time the two girls would talk about one subject.
Then when the girls would talk the listener would always respond with a “yes” or some other response related to that, while boys just sit and listen. This really clarified a lot to me, because in a lot of relationships I always thought that guys never really listened but its just our different subcultures, that sets us apart
I think this is what makes it very misleading for women, because in a relationship we expect someone to be a “best friend” and by that I mean someone who responds like a girl. I think we need to realize that maybe guys are listening to us when we think they aren’t

People, situations, things; they all happen for a reason. Our world today has become so kayotic and down the road it seems like it is just getting worse. I have a belief in God, I know that what ever happens is in his hands and he has a plan for us. I think with our world today many people ask if there is a God then were is he in this crisis we are facing in our world today.

It’s a good question, but God doesn’t cause everything in this world. There is a Heaven and a Hell, our sins is what made that Hell. Our world cant be perfect, and when those unperfected situations arise its our trust that we have in God to help us out.

Today, we live in a society that is such a stubborn based culture. That it take a lot for someone to open their eyes and believe in something so big. Its hard to understand that things are the way they are, but I just know everything happens for a reason. The out come of our crises will eventually rise, we just need to be patient and wait.

We went through the great depression and came out of it. It taught us things in life, It happened for a reason. I’m not saying that God causes these things to happen its our sins that do, but I think it’s the faith we have in him that turns it around.

You know it just those simple things in life that you always feel like people do just to tick you off. For example there is always that one person while your driving down the highway that’s going 60 in a 65 in the fast lane! Then off coarse you want to pass them but can’t sense the semi along side of the vehicle is going at the same rate. It always seems like I get behind a slow poke when I am in a hurry.

A pet-peeve with the opposite sex, is when males think their extremely good looking just cause they have a six pack, and can get any women. Well correct me if I’m wrong but most of those six pack jocks are way to into themselves to even think about saying something nice to someone else, basically they just care about themselves. And for the girls that fall for those types, well I feel bad for them because I am sure they can do better.

A pet-peeve with the media, yes we like to be updated with our stares on what’s going on, but honestly there is a point where we had enough especially with the Brittany Spears issue. Seriously, if someone was following me around with a camera and talking smack about me to the world, I would probably go crazy and hit their car with an umbrella too. It is the part where blowing it out of proportion that needs to be meet to an end.

High school, Those popular people who are to scared to talk to the “out cast” cause they are scared of what others in their little click will think of them. Well everyone has a personality and those “out casts” normally have a more personality because there just them selves, rather than trying to be someone else to impress others. I’ve always learned that you have so much more fun in life if your just your self, you make a lot of friends as well.

Everyone one has that big dream in their life that they aim for. So many dreams get shut down, and thrown away cause our world has no motivation it seems like anymore. We all live for something in this world, and many of us take it for granted. We all have some sort of purpose in this world, and are whole journey through life is to find out what that is.
Our whole world dreams, but if they don’t achieve that dream right away it seems like they go down the wrong path. You have your whole life to fulfill that dream, don’t just through it away. Try to obtain that dream and put forth the effort in to achieving that goal.
People always try to look and think they cant find anything. They feel that their purpose on earth is nothing and they throw their life away. Life is such a strong word to me, life is something I look forward to everyday. I think people need to appreciate this gift that was given to us more. Rather than just throwing it out the door, try to do something in life
Life is such a strong word to me. Life is so precious, but people take it for granted all the time. So many people don’t understand how your life can just change in the blink of an eye. Life is what we live for, to be given the chance to be born and use our ability to achieve something I think is the greatest gift from God I could ask for.
